Is there more to this life? What does it mean to have a personal relationship with God?
Deep down most of us long to know if there is more to this life.
We believe that “more” is a need to know God.
Our prayer is that you Know God as you attend our Sunday Morning services. Many people think church services are boring & irrelevant. We hope to change that view through life-giving services. Everyone is welcome because nobody is perfect.
Freedom from what?
A mind-set of hurt, bad habits, or hang-ups.
How do I find freedom?
The best way to find freedom is to experience real life change.
One way to do this is by joining a Life Groups. God designed us to share life through community, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Life Groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible.
Does everyone have a purpose? Yes. Absolutely. God said so in Job 29:11.
How do I find my purpose? We should all whole-heartedly strive to grow in our relationship with God, to learn about what we possess while we Discover our Purpose in life and we are committed to helping you find and fulfil your God-given purpose.
We can all make a difference in life. It has been said that the happiest people in life are those who are living a life to do something to help someone else.
Many people find great joy in serving in their local church and you can as well as a member of the Dream Team.
Pastors Leo and Norma Davis dreamed of planting a church where people could experience the amazing love of God, grow in faith, and discover their purpose. After much prayer and preparation, that dream became a reality in 2017 with the launch of Love Alive Church in Orange Park, Florida.
With over 30 years of ministry experience, Leo and Norma brought a deep well of pastoral leadership, church development, and discipleship to the heart of Clay County. Their journey began long before Love Alive—having served in various ministry roles including outreach, small groups, and executive leadership in both church plants and established ministries.
They are proud members of the Association of Related Churches (ARC), a global church planting network that played a vital role in equipping them for the call to launch Love Alive Church.
From the beginning, their mission has been simple: to help people live fully alive through the power of God’s love. What started with a calling has grown into a thriving, Spirit-led church where lives are being transformed and families are being strengthened.
Married since 1989, they are the proud parents of four children—Jamal (RIH 2009), Bridgett, Joshua, and Jonathan—and the joyful grandparents of Josiah and Phoebe. Both are also United States Army Veterans and successful entrepreneurs who lead multiple community-impacting initiatives.
They often say, “This walk of faith hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always been worth it.”
Love Alive Church is not being built on the gifts of a few, but on the hearts and sacrifices of many. We’re so glad you’re here—and we believe you’re part of the story God is writing through this house.
